Board of Directors
Dan ChristiansonDan is the President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of F & M Community Bank. A lifelong resident of Preston, Dan brings those experiences along with his 23 years of full-time banking experience to the bank. He is a graduate of what is now known as the Carlson School of Management of the University of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota Law School. Dan has been very active in the area having served on the Preston-Fountain school board for ten years, chaired the Preston Economic Development Authority at its inception, and was a member of the Commonweal Theatre Board. He continues to be active by serving on the Good Earth Village board, the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation board, and the Greater Rochester Area University Center board. Dan and his wife, Tami, have three children, Alyssa, Carryn and Jarad.
F. Mike Touhy…Mike is retired as CEO of Tuohy Furniture and now enjoying life with his wife Gina in rural Chatfield, MN. Mike started working with his father in 1955. He took over the business in 1972 and after 29 years of running the business has now turned it over to his sons. Mike brings significant experience in what it takes to run a business.
Tom Sautter…Tom, along with his wife and partner Dr. Linda Sifford, owns a veterinary practice in Preston, MN. Having practiced for over 20 years in SE MN, Tom has developed an expertise in helping local farmers and animal lovers. Tom and his family live in rural Lanesboro, MN.
Kenric Scheevel…Kenric brings statewide expertise with his being a former state legislator. Currently he is the Government Relations Representative with Dairyland Power Cooperative based out of LaCrosse, WI and is responsible for following the legislative and regulatory activities in Minnesota, Iowa and Washington, DC. He, along with his wife Karen and daughter Alison, live on the family farm in rural Greenleafton, MN.
Chuck Aug…Chuck is currently Senior Vice-President/Chief Operational Officer/Senior Lender at F & M Community Bank. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, he has been employed with the bank for 23+ years. Chuck is very active in the Preston community; serving on the school board for 16 years, member of the Economic Development Authority, and served on the fire department for 20 years. He and his wife, Vonnie, have three children, Jeremy, Nikki and Jordan.
Bob Fisher...Bob is the Chief Financial Officer of F & M Community Bank. A Rochester resident, he grew up in Stewartville, MN and graduated from St. Johns University with degrees in Economics and Accounting. Bob previously was employed by McGladrey Pullen, LLP as a certified public accountant for 33 years, working primarily with financial institutions. In 2004, Bob decided to make a career change. He left public accounting to join the team at F & M Community Bank. Bob and his wife, Marilyn, have three sons, Brent, Brian, and Brad.
